in my limited experience with PU glue you need your press to be dialed in and provide perfectly even pressure.

working with a PVAc glue is a much better solution imo.

I'd need to see your press to get a better idea but from what you describe it's possible that you got it pressed okay. Worst case you didn't, it breaks, and you build another deck. To be on the safe side, stick with PVAc in the future.

The correct word for Gorilla Glue is effervescent.

Yeah, I'd say there's a good chance you've got a bit of foam in there but you might have enough decent bond through the majority of the board that it won't be a problem. I'm going to go ahead and direct you back to my last post. Ride it, kill it, rebuild it. It's the circle of (longboard) life.

well. it was cheap just some 1/2 inch plywood cut into 4 inch strips worked better. so it can curve over the wood. make sure you dont leave gaps inbetween itll do a better job like that im still riding the board today. and its held up

    btt ...

i support longboarderforlifes rant against that kind of glue. my first try was with something similar to gorilla glue and when stepping first time on it , you could already hear the joints cracking.

whole thing didn't last very long and next one will be made with titebond.

Yea, it's the "champagne of adhesives"!!

I made one hell of a mess one time with GG (not building a deck though) And like ielongboardman, I wore that crap on my hands for like a week because nothing seemed to be up to the task of removing it. I swore I'd never touch the stuff again after that fiasco...
