    Default Graphics..

I was recently looking over the "Other planet logo" thread, and saw a few really cool logos.

My question is, seeing as i already have some decks made, i want to create and apply a graphic. my questions are:
What would be the best graphic designer for a graphic?
How would i apply the graphic to the boards?

    Thanks- Chris

oh ok gotcha. I know there are some companies that will do custom vinyl prints for just about anything. ill see if i can find it. They are some of the guys that make wraps for cars and boats. that might be cool. I think they have a downloadable template like program that you can get your ideas into. not sure tho so.

Do you know where you can find information about thermal transfer? I have been looking into it but can't really find anything. Everything I find is for t-shirts and textiles, nothing on how to transfer to wood or plastic (epoxy).

Hey mate, not sure about everyone else but I use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Both these programs cost an arm and a leg but *looks around for anti-pirates YARGH!*...you can find safe versions of these on torrent sites etc plus they are generally smaller this way. Btw, dont download the sketchy stuff....shits bound to give you a virus.

Info on the programs themselves is summed up with Illustrator offers a zero pixel rate pretty much....images are super clear and crisp so with the aid of holding the SHIFT key...you can make images that are un-pixeled no matter what the size. Photoshop is the image editor magician pretty much...Manipulate stuff until you can no moar. I preffer to start off with ideas and images in PS and then transfer to Illustrator then maybe back to PS for finishing off stuff.

OH! and theres already some GREAT stuff on the 'fish about DIY graphics. Type in the search area "Graphics" or something similair and you'll find a ton of info .

Goodluck with it all and post pics when you figure stuff out haha!

Or just print something on rice paper (like sterlingc said) and poly the paper directly onto the board.

    Rayne rocks it out...Just sayin'...
