    top to bottom

    1/16 maple
    4 sheets of 3'' x 1/4'' x 48'' <------Vlamed

i want this deck thinner with some flex. will this do the job?

I would suggest flipping the board upside down. Hard Maple on the bottom. Birch is structurally weaker, is more prone to damage by impact, and has very saggy droopy flex. A board with maple on the bottom will give you a much more strong and durable product and a nicer snappier flex.

    From my experience.

By the way why are you vlamming stuff on the inside? Just for fun?

yeah i wanna just play around till i find a easy way to make some pretty sick boards.
i made a balsa deck like 2 out of 4 were vlamed.

oh and im also adding a sheet of 8oz fiberglass to the top and two on the bottom.

should i use a different wood besides birch? i could get another full sheet of aspen instead?
