    Default design software.

    anyone know a good design software (thats free) that runs on a mac?? my trial one of easy draw just ran out. and im looking for something else to design my boards with.

    sketchup should be able to get the job done.

    Not sure if they have a mac port... but it's some powerful free software for 3d design and animations.

    Progecad is very similar to Autocad which happens to be my preference.Not sure on its compatibility with Mac but you can get Autocad to run on a Mac so i don't see why it wouldn't work. Or you can just download an Autocad torrent.

    Get an old PC and stick Linux on it. Linux has tons of free software, including movie editing, 3d rendering, music making, and pretty much what ever else is out for mac and windows, except free.

    Cann0n: blender thing was a little to complex for what im going to use it for, but it looks like a great program and if i had an old comp i would do that.

    Sketchup is ok, very powerful but a pain in the ass of a learning curve if you are used to traditional drawing programs Do a search in the warehouse I did a Dervish there

    the learning curve isnt that bad. its pretty intuitive IMO

    i use sketchup all the time. it works great imo. it does take some practice, but it works.
