XXXtreem Bends
Roarockit and Kevin from Ambitious (he is a bearing professional up here in Canada) pulled a 1 1/2", nine layer drop out of the bag last week. The bend is wicked to say the least.

Thanks-
yes, in fact this was made with a standard roarockit vacuum kit. the bends were very extreme just past 45 degrees which makes everyone happy !

the board with the de-wedge was done in one lay up, it is 8 plys,
the board that is just a 1 1/2 " drop board is 9 plys done in two lay ups

yes sir!!!
when i was designing this board for our build i wanted to build something like an evo but easier to use for people who hadnt used a de wedged board before. so i took 5 degrees out of the back (17 degrees totall angle) rather than the evos 22 degree dewedge
it definietly came out very smooth. we did all 8 plys in one lay up.

the drop board is nice , almost like a ly switch. the other baord is like a ly evo but only 9 INCHES WIDE!!!! making it impossible to not have the concave involved in your stance somehow !!!

Evo's have a 15 degree wedge/dewedge, the 22 number from Landy is not correct actually...

what spot are you measuring from cause i keep getting 22 when i measure it out.
now im interested.
none the less the board is 5 degrees less than the actual board itself as it was HEAVILY used in the planning process for the wedging

Re: XXXtreem Bends
Damn. Major props to Kevin. Is Kevin Kmoney?
Anyways, those are some amazing boards. Vacuum bag is a powerful tool in the right hands. I'm just getting the hang of it.
I was doing some calculations ankd I now want to tal to my local community indoor pool to see if I can press a board at the bottom of their pool... in the name of science of course!
I calculated I could get about 25psi. Which is a significant step up from from atmospheric. I was talking to David from other planet trucks and he suggested I find a pool filled with mercury. Wish that existed because I could get about 250psi in one of those.
