I think i'm going to be doing some experimenting pretty soon with a buddy of mine, but materials are a question...

If i wanted to make a pintail, or one with a body channel in it, what material would offer me the most flex, with the most strength? Marine ply-wood? Or maple??? Im in the dark, and the day is getting closer...

Any Suggestions??
