Looks like some kind of truss core. Like the floor of your house.

It is def. carbon fiber, its just placed in thin strips( the tell is in one of the shots, you can see the guy smoothing out the epoxy. Probably built up in layers. Def. gunna be really light. At first i thought it was a honey-comb type structure, i heard loaded was trying something like that.

used carb fibe on a board last time, but it does not look like that, and it cannot be striped like that, material is too ******** strong. or maybe it is, i really cannot tell, i tried making those tail and nose jobs earlier, but i do not weld that good, had a hard time, maybe using carb fibe on those ends will do better than the sheets, hhhhhhm???
