Default some de-lam removal help needed

i got a 1/8 sheet of baltic birch delaming on the top of the deck i'm am working on. instead of trying to stick it back on (which always seems to work out poorly), i plan on removing it.

i haven't done this before and thought i might ask for some advice. i was just going to use a chisel and then sand the rest off. any other ideas?

    thanks guys

hmm... well when you pell it off it wont pull off all the adhesive, and that stuff is junk to sand off.

baltic birch ply, unlike its sturdier cousin finnish birch, uses a glue that is not really waterproof.
depending on what the glue layer is under the top layer of baltic birch, you may be able to soak it off in a few stages which would remove the majority of the material.
trying to sand a 3ply 1/8" layer off is going to be tough.

after showing the deck to Ted (roarockit), who (lucky for me) is a teacher at my school, i decided just to leave the board for a while and let the layer come off on its own, or at least come off enough so i can help it off the rest of the way.

thanks for the advice and help guys, i appriciate it alot
