im thinking of making a 55in outa ash. is ash really expensive or do u have a better wood suggestion

ash is very good. i made my 60" with ash...and its really strong....but gives a good amount of flex. id say go with the ash. i had no problem getting it cuz my dad's a shop teacher. you might have a little more trouble finding it.
