Types of wood and a few questions
I was wondering....... is baltic birch a must or can i use other plywoods?
Is pine plywood decent?
also....... for the board build off do i have to have a deck completed with hardware, trucks, ect?
forgive my dumb questions im a noob to board building.

I've never used pine. is it veneer core or mdf? if it is veneer, is it pine through and through, and void free?
you can submit whatever you want for the board building contest, there aren't really any rules here, but don't you want to put some trucks and wheels on it and go skate?

eesh...pine. can't say i'd reccomend it. never tried it for a longboard, but i've used pine plywood plenty of time for other things, and i just don't think it has the durability or smooth flex, plus it often has defects. maybe do a small-scale trial lamination first.

I would send in pics with trucks and stuff only that im gettin my hardware and trucks on christmas.
