Its aluminum vapor coated fiber glass, according to Alex of Wefunk.

Great timing because i just received my wefunk today! one of a kind blue resin TS, which just happens to have texalium in it.

Super stiff ride for my 160 frame, but its light as hell.

feels really cool too, its hard to explain the texture, its not smooth like a clean CF job, but kinda bumpy. Feels tantalizing...

Do you lay it just like fiberglass?
And I'm assuming thats its allure?
    Superlight+stiff+strong?

The tex stuff may feel very stiff as a cloth , but it doesn't have much difference in strength beyond the fiberglass that it is . It's not carbon , nor is it kevlar , it's simply very pretty fiberglass and should be priced just a few dollars more than standard e-glass , with the exception that it might be s-glass made up of a different glass formulation . If you find a retailer charging a ton for it , haggle or move along to a more reasonable vendor . The reason I mention the price thing is a friend brought some back from asia as samples saying that it was $40 a yard at 6 oz and 38" wide . That was a gip compared to my $7 a yard at fiberglass hawaii . Considering that carbon is soooo spendy now , I'm trying to use more tex to stretch out my carbon stock .

I miss the old, mean Holikujak. What's happened to you? I'm not sure if it's your avatar or what, but recently you've seemed a bit "special".

one performance advantag it has is that its harder than glass, its not a big thing with skates other than mabey durrability, but it has a supper high hardness for a composite

i dont think it will make a difference or a huge difference at least,it might have a bit more snap to it then just a plain mosquito
