Drop-Thru...Crails or Randals?

Im thinking about turning my 46" s9 supercruiser into a drop-thru.

I have crails and randals that I can put on it, but I am not sure which to use for the drop-thru.

I want to use the randals because they will require a smaller hole, which gives more strength when compared to the big hole needed for crails...but the darn kingpin hole is off center (no need for anyone else to complain...we already know... ).

So I am thinkin about cutting it to fit my crails, but that hole looks like its gonna be pretty big.

Will I run into any strength problems if i use crails and put down a layer of fiberglass near each truck?

I think you've answered your own question: if you cut the bigger hole, it might be the call to add some strength to the board.

I think the size in holes is pretty negligable. There is somebody in the forums(can't remember who) who customized his insect speedboard from randall dropthroughs to crails with minimal filing. Just something to consider.
