    Default buying wood online

anyone ever bought their wood from http://www.woodnshop.com/ ?

they sell 1/8 baltic birch (20"x30") for $3.00. for anyone building mini's this is a perfect size, but i'm skeptical about the quality. says its B/BB, and can have patches on both sides. i'm not familiar with plywoods, anyone have any input?

I looked at some of their veneers, but its hard to tell, but it seems like they are all glued on the backs.

i would go to a local hardware store to get some birch. may be expensive but its better than being ripped off online by some cheap store.
chicagolongboards- They had to kill the alligator. After he ate the rednecks limbs he got a taste for crack. Have you ever seen an alligator with a crack addiction? It's serious business seeing them hanging out in allies!;)

i've bought a 60x60 piece of 5/8ths inch baltic birch from them this summer when i started building and so far its holding up great. i haven't gotten too much riding time on them though, but i made a 5 footer and am able to jump up and down on it with no problems at all(i weigh about 135). the 2 30 inch minis are really solid too, although 5/8ths is a little thick for a mini. but anyway there arent that many knots and i plan on ordering some 1/8 for this summer to laminate.
