i cant be seen with a board at school (long story), so that just struck the idea part of the brain thanks and ull be seeing one soon

a kid at my school made one. Didn't get a really good look at it, but it was pretty solid. Instead of folding he had it just come apart then i guess the two parts hooked up in a more sensible shape.

you could put a hinge betweeen two halves and so when you stand on it, it locks it solid.

it would have to be a PHAT hinge, but that could work. If its just for commuting it woud be just fine... would probably end up with a little rocker.
