    Default 80 DECKS

Here is a picture of some of the 80 decks that Peter Boeckh's Clarkson highschool students in Toronto built using our Roarockit kits.
These kids during exam week when all the shops are typically empty were filling the wood shop to work on their decks.

Peter, to say the least had his hands full on this one. Norah and I attended a morning class at the school and it was a hub of activity...sanding, spokeshaving, taping and spraying with questions flying in all directions.
Seems it all worked out though, by looking at the pictures.

A small plug for our teaching program. Anyone out there who is interested in setting up a class in a community center/school to teach kids how to build decks, we can provide lots of promo material about deckmaking for you. It is a good time to approach centers as they are planning their summer programs now.

If you are interested email me at ted@roarockit.com

Here is a link to my blog that has more pictures of the classes.

I plan on talking my woodshop teacher into getting a board-building kit to make longboards (that's all ill be doing this semester).

That is an incredible amount of boards for one class session!! I am filled with respect for Peter Boeckh and his faculty council for putting that class together and making it happen!! Wow!

Now, we just have to illuminate Peter regarding the "longboard"...

There are some real beauties in there!

Cool. I'll be up there next weekend, my girlfriend is working and I'll have a little free time. I want to skate, but I'd love to check out your stuff too. Do you have a shop? I have been itching to get a vacuum bag for a while. We are staying at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel, I have not had time to get a map and scope things out. I saw one indoor park on the web, and I saw where there was a bar made out of ice.
