best wood?

whats the best wood to use for making a semi flexy 47" board. i just used red oak for a trace of a hyper carve and its 9 plys and i stepped on it and i heard tons of cracking.

the hypercarves are made of flat baltic birch, somewhere between 1/2in and 3/4in
Flat boards are so fun and easy to make just cut out your wood and drill some holes, woohoo

i did. i cut it out and drilled the holes but the second i stepped on it it started to crack it sounded like.

You probably want to use baltic birch plywood.

Ah, well, I was just thinking, at places like home depot, you can buy "Red Oak" plywood, thats like, 5% red oak (thin outer veneers) and the rest is really sketchy pine or something.

instead of cutting it down i was thinking of putting 3 trucks on it 2 in back and 1 in front

if he put 3 trucks on it it would help but not so much. maybe if you put one truck right in the middle it will work. try it and let us know how itll work
