I am in the process of building a dropped through speed board. The trucks i was planning on using were crails but after a several attempts i cant figure out the drop through template for the crails. Why are the crail baseplates so damn big?! It seems like the bolt holes are so close to the dropped through hole that it might pull through or something. I really wanted to make a drop through but i think i just might build a top mount for now.

you only need 1/4 inch ish around the holes. Look at any template, they are all really close.
