    Default 54" Cruiser Newbie

I'm attempting my first board build. It's going to be a 54" long x 8.75" wide cruiser with a 38" wheelbase. I plan to make it cambered. I have a 5' x 5' sheet of 1/4" 5-ply BB. How thick will I need to go if I weigh 165 lbs? I'm thinking that 2 sheets at 1/2" thick might give too much flex. Will 3/4" be a tank?

    According to my calculations...
At 165 lbs, if you are cambering it, (which adds a bit of strength).
    5/8" would be fine,
3/4 would be fine too if you want it stiff....

Thanks guys! What's the longest I could go and stick with 1/2"? Just curious, I'll probably still go with the 54" length though.

if you went with a 30-32 wb with half inch it will be nice flex if you camber it.
