this was the first longboard i made. its not entirely original since i used an old skateboard deck but i still count it as the first longboard i built. these pictures are from right after i finished it and everything. i went back and corrected the front trucks, they were very crooked, and put on smaller (from 70mm to 60mm), stiffer, wheels for better sliding.

That's what we here in the longboard world call a "scholngboard"
short-longboard. Good work, maybe give it a paint job and some new grip make it look tip top shape! Dig it man.

Good job on re-assessing your job and fixing the problems. Cut some wheelwells/cutouts into the front and back of the board to allow for more clearance. Have fun on that thing! I had a shlongboard once and it was a blast!

i thought about doing that but it hasnt been a problem. now that ive got the 60mm on there, they havent bumped the board at all

looks like we're running the same wheel/ truck setup Gullwing 9" w/ 70 / 75a 9balls

I attached a picture that i took to the bottom of mine. Looked ok at first but has gotten slightly chewed up since.

those wheels are now on my pintail, but still same setup lol

i would not use randals or paris on a shlongboard, the increase in the truck angle is too much and proper pressure cannot be applied to the bushings without dewedge.

You see, you combine short and long to get shlong. There is no C in it. Someone just made a typo or something and it seems to have stuck.

Good to see good self critique on your work, mine shlongboard holes were pretty crooked too.
