My latest projects.. (Bombsies & Skogging)
Here are a couple of previews of what I've been working on lately.
The first is my first deck for a real customer, Bombsies, this is his deck,
called the Hotfish, L: 29" x W: 9 9/16" WB: 19" 9 ply baltic birch.
Waiting for him to pick it up and ride it..
The second is a board I'm doing for Chris Yandall aka saMOA (skogging)...
It's the first ever official Skogging deck ever,,, I'm working on his upcoming
Skogging DVD right now, we've been busy shooting lots of footage..
His deck is L:35" x W:9 11/16 WB: 23", 11ply baltic birch.
It's not done yet, hoping to have it ready by the end of the weekend.

Dude, that Hotfish looks INSANE. If I had money, I would definately pay you to make me a board.

Those are some sweet boards and I'm sure Chris is going to be skogging all around the beach down there in SD on that board. Any concave on the board for Chris?

Very professional looking. They look factory perfect, but they are better since they're handmade and unique. Awesome.

I'm assuming rockered with not too much concave and relatively wide, but not too wide.

Just last night I was wondering how your builds were going. Those are two great looking decks. Keep up the good work!

Re: My latest projects.. (Bombsies & Skogging)
Thanks guys..
johnspurlock: It's just a flat deck, a cruiser..
This is the flat skogging model.. Concave will come later...
I'm in the process of finding a garage, once I have a garage,
I will be making a press, and then watch out!
Yeah, I can't wait to get him on this board..
He's going to set it up with Bennett 5.0's and some
small slalom wheels...
citycrusher: Just start saving your pennies now...
Sleeveless: Thanks man!
As far as Skogging decks, yeah, just about anything will work...
But I did make this board according to what Chris wanted.
He wanted it to have my wide/fat/short nose, and be a very wide board,
but not overly wide... He wanted it stiff, with hardly any flex...
I think any deck over 34" would be fine for Skogging, I think you
just want a comfortable ride, something that's easy to ride and
cruise on...
Thanks..................

They're looking good! In colors, too! Do they have that insano finish on them that you do?
