i really need to know if this will work because i am going to get the bamboo tomorrow and need to know if i need to get 2mm veneer also so that i can get the camber.... i'd rather not have the added thickness, i'm using triaxle and uni glass. how does steve at insect get the camber, he doesn't use a veneer right?

i would probably get some veneer just to be safe. add the veneer and then the fiberglass. you wont want to buy expensive materials, press it, only to pull it out to find the deck flat with the fiberglass poorly laminated.

Loaded vertically laminates their bamboo together

ya but if you look at the bottom of one of their boards you will see fiberglass between the deck and a veneer.

they sell 1/8th but is a 0.6 mm veneer on shitty plywood... i've spent the last month making proto types out of BB becuz i am trying to start a small business out. i no have three shapes that my friends and i have tested and approved and they are just waiting for me to build and i could sell them for around 100 if i get the bamboo figured out, but i might just have to stick with BB. so loaded actually laminates their decks themselves? i thought they just bough sheets of v-lam and laminated the veneers on to get the shape...
