    Default Sweet New Schlong

I just finished my first board i have ever made. it is a schlong i made from an old deck i had in the garage. i used some paint thinner and sand paper to take the old graphic off. i then drilled the new holes (laser level worked amazing to get them perfectly aligned). I printed the graphic on this paper plastic stuff used to make your own window decals. i then did a coat of poly then put it on, inkside down. then put another 4 coats on top. on the grip side i did taped off a riseing sun and spraypainted it(the board already had a red wood dye). It was gripped using a coat of poly then some white sand we use for our pool filter. then sprayed a very very light coat of clear poly ontop to really lock in the sand. i have yet to ride it but cant wait. it is drying now.

Very nice job on the conversion. Like the dragon, I'm a big fan of the big lizards. Let us know how you set it up and how it rides.

Keep the wheels unless they're super coned. Old GOS are sick wheels. Good job on the deck bro!

That will be the same as mine once you put the c7's on (cept my Flashies are 81a). Be careful of wheel bite if you haven't put cut-outs in. I reckon I'll flip the hangers to try and get a bit more turn (the angle is still a bit steep for cruising even with the low angle baseplate).

i originally wasnt going to cut it out and i had just finished the mounting the trucks take it for a spin and i take a little turn and i go flying. so i just did the cut outs. and i rode it today. it was a sweet ride. pretty stable but very turny and i actually pumped it for a little. never have been able to do that before..
