    Lightbulb Drop Deck question.

Is it possible to build a drop deck board using the vacuum bag and foam mold combination?

and if so, are there any suggestions to do this, and any tips for a newer board builder?

I have never made a vacuum bagged board, and was thinking of trying a raorockit kit... the thin air press? anyone had any luck with it?

i was thinking of using 9plys of Canadian maple veneer, with 2 possible layers of fiberglass, all held together with epoxy resin.

so what do you all think?

I've never done it before but to be safe you might only lam 2-3 plys at a time to ensure they press nicely against the foam.

So the core's solid veneer, has anyone else tried that?
    Sounds a little bit dodgy
