    Default Shhhlloongg

Hey this is my first attempt at any board building. My sister just had her birthday and is leaving for her first year of college and was going to bring her old shortboard to college to get around on. So as her birthday/graduation/leaving for college present I made her board into a shlong. I decided to go for a wedged nose and small kicktail so I could made the wheelbase a little longer so she has more room on the deck. Trucks are randall 150s and wheels are 81a flashbacks. I have a khiro wedging kit, does anybody have any suggestions on putting any riser on? it already rides pretty high like this so I don't want to add too much.

well ultimately you want 35º trucks on there. (imo)
but I'd dewedge both ends as it currently stands.

It should fare better than a lot of shlongboards do because the tail hasn't been push back as far. (wedged)
whack a bennett on the front and a RTs on the tail and that board would go off!

nice board, but it still looks a bit high for me which is what I find as the advantage of a schlong board. How does it turn? Here is mine:

yours is definitely more attractive looking though, mine is really plain =\

I had a board like that and it ran so much better with conventional syle tracks than randals. That will make it lower full stop if you've got any.

agreed, I had randalls on a schlong before and it was horrible. The turning was basically non-existent.

I've seen Bennetts wedged to hell on front ends, so maybe you can try a Bennett 5.0 on the front to get a nice turny front end. You could used a Tracker Dart/RTS on the back, or maybe see how the randal feels on the rear.
