Default ever use this for clear grip?

    http://www.behr.com/behrx/act/view/p...ialty&catId=10

i found this at home depot, but i don't think it'll do the job... is it similar to tread tex?

    http://www.homaxproducts.com/product.../11/index.html

i read somewhere that tread tex is good, but i don't know what it's like.
the non-skid behr stuff i could feel through the bag... and it felt REALLy fine. like powdered sugar.
    is that good?
i am trying to find silica sand, i'll call ace hardware store tomorrow, hopefully they'll have it.

let me know if you ever heard of this "non-skid floor finish additive"

The Behr stuff is like a powder, it's good for patios and stuff.
    Find Tread Tex... Ace Hardware.
It's all i use now, ultra grippy and clear.

that stuff will work. ive used a similar product from lowes on my ks along side with griptape. any of the additive non slip surface powder mixes are pretty much the same. the treadtex is more course.

if ur wondering how my board is ask anyone in the sd thread that has taken my board for a ride

yup. u can also mix a small portion together to set some in, apply, sprinkle more via salt shaker, then a couple more coats

    either way is fine
