Cough cough Composites you say, actually the lines you see running diagonally, is because that deck has fine weave texalium on it

Re: Graphics contest info thread
I have screwed up my graphics entry beyond belief. Stupidest thing ever.
I was going to enter one board here and one in slalom. The one here was going to be really pretty, inlayed with zebrawood. One element of the graphic is the outline of my state cut out on a scroll saw. I put the mother ####er in there backwards. Baskwards. Just pulled it out of the press last night, took the tape off and it's ####### backwards. So I have a whole deck with a backwards Alabama on it.
I might finish it anyhow and put my text and other graphics on there in mirror image. Damnit. I still have one for the other contest I'll enter here and there, but I wanted two.

Re: Graphics contest info thread
Shucks, I done heard you folks down in 'bama're pretty backwards, anyway.
I feel your pain, though. Dang.

Re: Graphics contest info thread
Weeeel, we ain't barkwards at all, we tend to move a bit slow sometimes though. Guess that's what I get for working in the shop late at night, around beer o'clock.
May not be a total loss. I'm thinking I can do the text graphics backwards. It will look cool if I hold it up to a mirror.

Re: Graphics contest info thread
So, when are we going to be able to start posting our boards for the graphics contest? I have quite a few hours left of work to do, but I'm getting very excited. How many days of voting will there be? This will be my first entry in a Silverfish contest. Thanks.

Re: Graphics contest info thread
Yeah time is getting short. Glad you wondered upon us anyway. Maybe you can get something together in the week or more we have left. You have until march 7 to get an entry posted. Good luck.

the key is to start of high resolution then downsize as needed, going the other way never works well
