Enforcement is easy . Those that postred they were not done,here, today, are in-fact done with the contest. They did not make the deadline. This is for a boad worth major $$. Has some balls and withdraw. Simple.

I explained that I knew I could not complete by the deadline. So, with that, I have no entry. Others said they may not be able to make the deadline and were told to make the deadline in a wek or so. They also may now not have an entry.
What is sooo hard to understand abou this.
Rules changed for some, but not others. now some are screwed and others are not. Fair? NO.

Well the competition is getting pretty intense....the stuff thats been entered so far is awesome stuff, i would be stoked to own any of them.

You cheated by entering a board not within a posted time limit. You AND your board makers are pros. Neither made the deadline, neither. You have taken it upon yourself to enter a contest for hobbiests with a pro built board and pro designed, not painted, not sketched,nor airbrushed , not doodled, COMPUTER STICKERS, and STILL could not complete on time.
In reading your PRO website you state that you are proud of the fact you can and will complete any deadline. I guess that is just BS and fluff to sell boards.
Be a man and withdraw. Act like the pro you are supposed to be, not some greedy , deck staking cheater.

Unfortunately I don't get paid for things involved in this hobby for a living, iunlike you, and need to pay the rent first and formost. So the worst that could happen is i don't make the bills.

Sure I visited. I mean when an obvious tenth grader walks into the dodgeball game chuckin' fast ones at my kindergarten head, F'in A right I am checking.
Now where do I go to check to see what grade you completed in gradeschool english? Nevermind, probably pre-gradeschool. Next time sound out February. You can even leave out the 'r' and still understand what month of the year you should have finished. F..e..b..r..u..a..r..y. February. Say it with me.

I by no means consider myself a Pro. Anyone that has access to Silverfish can do what I do. Rodgon is in IMO a very talented artist. Did you see his original sketch? He does what he does with use of the computer, that is his chosen medium. This is after all a graphics contest. There are a lot of other entries that are done by great artists that I would consider to be at the professional level. Should we also rage on the current board building contest entries that we deem too professional?
I'm not trying to flame you but I'm not quite sure why someone that has joined During the month of March would be raising such a fuss. Second account?
I'll leave it at this. Relax. With all the negativity you're throwing around you could be doing something a lot more constructive. If Sniffeless deems our entry a DQ then so be it. I'm just trying to have fun and get some props.

Edit: I'm sorry I have to reply to this also. He DID complete his side of the artwork in time. If you would have read through my entry post I point that out.
You're right it's "not painted, not sketched,nor airbrushed , not doodled" It is in fact awesome hard work computer artistry (along with the whole sketching thing you're talking about, see entry post) applied to waterslide decal paper. Where did I hear of this awesome stuff? Right here on the 'Fish.

To LB1967: please read this......and chill out

The entry week has always been a grey area. Perferably all contestants should have their work finished by the end of the designated build month (febuary). That being said, (and I just covered this in another thread) anyone could still be working on their art all the way up until the end and no one would be the wiser. So why not just say it's okay? It usually gets a few more entrants in and keeps things running smooth. I let things run a little loose with these contests. If you start coming down hard on everyone and they tend to be less fun. These contests are just about having fun.

I would be up for the contest even if Landy or Never summer entered. I think any good artist should be able to compete with any of those guys.. thats my opinion.

That would depend on the amount of times I am called an "ass" , was told to "grab my balls", was told that "it sucks to be me" or was offered midol.
Was gonna' let it drop before the last two posts.

How does this sound? If rodgon does not "care about the board" as a prize I have no problem with him being in the contest. If he wins he gives the board to the person with the next highest votes. I can cut n' paste the PM where he says he does not care about the board. That way neither him not I are able to win the prize , but he can still get the personal satisfaction that his art was the best.
Any problems with that?
