So just finished up my new topmount. Decided to go for a traditional shape with this one. The boards is 3 sheets of 5/32" baltic birch, total thickness comes in around 1/2". Flex is suprisingly minimal due to the deep (5/8th in) concave.
Dimensions are 42"x10.25" with a 34.5" WB.
I have it set up with crails and some sector 9 74mm 78a wheels I got from wheelabrator (nice and grippy and pretty good drift once I broke them in). I have a small wedge in the front for some extra turning and a thin riser in the back to keep things level.
Ride is pretty tanky right now (a lot more board then I'm used to coming from a 37.5" with a sub 30" WB)
I have yet to go out and hit some hills with it but will get some actions shots in soon.
After some testing I might do a couple more of these with some fancier materials and maybe some wheelwells.
Enjoy!
