glass/sand grip

ive been wanting to have sand or glass as my grip for a while but i dont know how to do it. ive looked throght the forum for some info and found a few threads but didnt really find much info on how to do it. if anyone knows and can give me in depth instructions that would be cool

clear, while still wet sprinkle on grip of your choice, then come back in with a coat or two when its somewhat dry to lock it in(instead of doing it right way which can cause runs and pooling)
