    Default Repainting Madrid Drop 41" need some info please (complete newb)

    I don't really know anything about this so please bear with me.
    Iv got a Madrid Drop 41" didn't care about the graphic at all the board just mesmerized me for some reason. So now im looking into repainting it.
    I was planning on just painting it plain white or black (or maybe spray paint if possible?) and putting a stencil on it with a Madrid logo on top.
    Any good websites with cheap unique stencils u guys know?
    The deck measures 11" x 41 1/2" with a 31 3/4" wheelbase
    any thing else I need? I remember my cousin saying layering something on top of it to stop the graphic from scrapping off too easily.

    i recommend manila folders (folders, not envelopes...) for stencils. they cut well, they're thick enough to stay stiff and not let a lot of bleed through, and they can be pretty big (they open up) and store well in a folder or backpack.

    Hahaha awesome pic, its awesome because that seems to make more sense, right off the bat, than the original the scream!!

    As for stencils, that office paper works good and its cheap. This thicker semi-transparent paper stuff I find at michaels works awesome aswell, somewhat a bitch to cut...but I found this new stencil soldering iron that works awesome!!! Toxic fumes when used on the plastic, i'll wear my resperator when it gets bad, paper is a less harmful route! I don't do stencils often, but they are definitley fun.

    lots of graffiti artists use transparency paper and x-acto blades to make their stencils.
    the transparency paper is nice because it's easy to cut and is much more durable than paper products.

    whatever you do... when you are putting something underneath it to keep from painting your floor/table/etc. do not use newspaper...

    it'll stick to your board and do #### like this:

    <--- this is abe.

    abe rides:
    ---> sector 9 - 46" bamboo pintail, randall 180s, rush abec7s, stock 78a wheels (STOLEN)
    ---> arbor - 45" bamboo blunt - gullwing alpines, biltin abec7s, stock 78a wheels
    ---> sector 9 - 29" nameless with kicktail - gullwing mission 1s, rush abec9s, stock 78a wheels
    ---> eastbilt - 58.5" custom dancer - randall 180s, biltin abec7s, abec11 grippins (also included: pride/joy)
