    Default so...here is my speedboard/Carver :)

i wanted to make a speedboard but my wood press limits the shapes i can make so....we threw some 45lb weights over the BB and made a flat board
Its L 44" W 9" WB 35" it is made with 4 1/8th inch sheets of BB. i don't know if i should drop it through or not...it would be my first time doing it so i am kind of wary about it. and when i get a vac press it WILL be getting some concave

    here it is....The Rebel

I like, I like. The lettering looks clean too.

Drop throughs are fairly easy. Just practice on some scraps first. Drill holes just inside the outline so you can fit your jigsaw blade into all the harder to reach places. Then cut that puppy out. Sanding the inside is super easy if you have a Dremel. If not a folded up sheet of sandpaper works well too. I'm sure you already know that Randal has drop through templates on there site. Randal Skateboard Trucks - Downhill, Longboard, Slalom, Luge Just make sure they are printed the right size. Do it!

I wonder if the Japanese get tattoos of English letters on their bodies? Probably not. Think about it.

A speedboard without any concave is like having sex and not bothering to finish. But i understand you were just testing the waters.

My friend and I were sitting in a dinner. This friend had some lame Chinese characters tattooed on his neck. The Chinese cook walked by and pointed at my buddies tats and said "ahhhhh, this says made in china". I found it quite hilarious.

you mean adding concave after it is laminated? if so you can use foam and then grip it. but it would be much better and stronger to laminate it with the concave, which is what i am going to do after i get my vac press

Actually from what I've heard they get clothes and things that say random English phrases like this Smell it! even if they don't understand it. Not quite a tattoo, but still..

I know nothing about board building or speedboards but that seems pretty sweet to me. Nice job!
