I believe your measurements are off a bit. A 42" board is not going to give you a 36" WB. Maybe more like 32". Keep in mind, WB is inner truck hole to hole. Anyway 10" is a little narrow and 36" is a little long for a DH WB IMO. Try 11" and 32-34". My DH board is however 10" and it is OK, but I wish it were a bit wider.
Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors. You must try them all before finding the one you like the best.

board width is all a matter of opinion, i love my 10", n my freinds 11" is a bit too wide to footbrake in my opinion, ur legs are too wide. try putting more wood around the truck area, it has too handle alot of stress. you can get away with at least 5" with 180 hangers. with that little wood around the nose and tail theres gna be alot of flex in that area, give the wood as good a chance as you can!

in the first design is there any reason for the back getting that much thinner? a wide back is really nice, feels alot more comfy when drifting and sliding.

also how are you achieving the drop in the deck? ie what type of press are you using? im interested because im thinking of making one soon, just gotter find the time!

wow 10in is not narrow. i have a size 14 1/2 shoe and use a board that is 9in wide. but as far as length goes, measure your tucks length. and add 2in that should be the length of your standing platform imo. then add 6in on the ends for where the trucks will be mounted for me that means a board that is 44in long total. (im 6'6) as for the design i like #2 cause it tapers back, but round the ends instead of blocking them. remember that a 90* angle is very weak and a curve is much stronger.
Blue stickers are only given to the select few people to suck adam coltons balls, and do it skillfully enough to give him blue balls. Thus resulting in the giving of the rare Blue Loaded Sticker.

im planning on just a standard ribbed press. if it ends up being too hard to make i'll probably just drop it through and add ~2" of wheelbase to compensate.

i decided il will now be 43"x10.5" tapering to 9.5" using 11 ply maple instead.

where can i buy the wood? and what glue should i use?

"Where" is a question you'll have to answer for yourself Find somewhere nearby that sells wood!
