Default cutting before lamination, good or bad idea?

ok i got this board im making, but i have a few problems. 1 is that i have a tight budget and two being that the ply of wood that im using is kinda big being 1/8th BB cuz i was going to use it for a snowboard. so i figure i could just cut the layers in a vise first and then glue them afterwards to save on glue and to make it easier to bend. does this sound like its worth the hassel?

from what i understand, you want to cut out the shape of the longboard before cutting?
in which case, that would definitely not be a good idea, since it is almost impossible to get a clean edge in that case.

well all i want to do is keep it within my budget and make it easy to bend so i can make it concave so MrZhangis in the pall park as far as what i mean and sorry for being unclear. all i want to do is cut out rough shapes and once i have them glues i will cut the access off when i start the finishing process.

    I have done it
but I left about an inch all around, glued, pressed, and then cut to the line
I wouldn't recommend it but it is possible.

Sometimes if you cannot get a tight enough bend pre-cutting the veneers to a roughed out size helps. Less material to bend = easier! .... I'm talking vacuum bag press here. Also the foam mold would have to be pre-cut for the best results similar to our kits.

If you can make the bend without any problems, I would leave it as a rectangle.

I cut all my boards before clamping/gluing. I figure if I screw up the cutting I want to do it before it's glued
