    Default question...

so for my first board ive been reading everything and figuring everything out and ive done alot of of wood work in the past so thats nothing weird to me, but after youve glued the sheets together and created the concave and what not, if itsnt enough of what you wanted, would it be possible to grind out from the center? or would that thin out the wood on the rails too much?

Sure, in theory you could sand wood out of the center, but you have to deal with the edges of the individual plies and the glue lines when you do that. It would look better and work better to bend the wood to what you need. Solid wood is different, if for say you were doing a vlam board. 8)
