i'm building my first longboard and got 2 sheets of BB grade baltic birch 1/4" is that good enough or do i need it to be thicker? i'm also planning on fiberglassing it. any and all help please.
i'm going to be making deck shape like the loaded dervish so i'm also looking for great setups for dh and sliding as well as all around cruising. please advise.

yeah, that should be good. one HUGE pointer for you building boards is to make sure your grain goes vertical and not horizontal. it its horizontal the board will sag and will flex down, but wont pop back up.
