.. so this is the revised version.
like all 313-skateboards it's together developed with my girlfriend verena
who studies product-design and is enthusiastic about slalom-skateboarding.
the board is now lighter (560 gramm / 1,23 lbs)
and much stiffer.
we used more UD carbonfibers
and made some improvements in the core to optimize the stability of the truckmount.
there's still much legacy-material left, i think we could save some more weight without stability disadvantages .
for the unavoidable p0rn-coefficient we made our "brand" in gold leaf this time.
hey an absolutely sweet board love the teamwork that goes into these. 2 questions. whats the white stuff that your painting onto your stencil an what does it do. and how did you cut out your stencil without completely messing it up
that board is gorgeous it looks so professional, and i'm gonna guess the white stuff was glue for the gold leaf, and I always cut stencils with a #11 x-acto knife and a steady hand

yea but do you put the tape or masking paper on the board and then cut it? i put it over acetate and cut it an then peel it off an stick it on my board but whenever i try to do something detailed it is impossible to pull off without wrecking it
the graphic is vector-made in adobe freehand.
we gave the eps-file to an acquaintance who has a foil-plotter.
the so produced stencil is self-adhesive.
finally the plot wasn't very expensive ... and no messing up with scalpel and so on.
the white stuff is special glue for the gold leaf.

in our theory it's only for absorbing vibrations.
.pete, I look forward to your threads like I look forwards to christmas, your builds humble me and I honestly think your decks are the highest quality in the market. As a builder who some day hopes to start his own company and create beautiful usable works of art and style you have my sincere admiration.
