Default First Boards
Hi guys. Ive been on the forum for a wee while and have lately got a board rolling.

I know your all thinking its just another stupid schlong but i love riding this thing. Need to get new trucks and it will be perfect...

Fest your eyes....

Currently set up with the skatetrucks that were on the board and lime Big Zigs. Hope you like it.

The shlong is very clean looking but I must ask How do you not get wheel bite

The pressed board looks really nice cant wait to see the final product

Cheers Guys...

The schlong does wheel bite but i have to carve rather hard. Im really just a light weight at 65kg. Thats why it needs new trucks tho. to completely avoid it. I want to try my charger trucks on it but will prob have to dewedge it.

shlongs on 50° trucks are horrible IMO
you certainly want a low axis tail.

There's a bunch on, or near 50° - Randal, Paris, Gullwing, Tracker, Bear, Holey, Force...

Some of these Co's make lower axis trucks as well.
The Randal FAQ has a ton of info if you haven't read it already.

Did you seal the wood before applying the varnish ?

The green looks nice, what product did you use for that ?

The varnish is sealing the wood...I hope. There are quite a few coats on there.

The green was a dye that i found in my room that i obtained from high school a few years back. Found it and thought it would be cool. so just masking taped the board and rubbed it on with an old rag.
