Both Louis and myself, think that it has been not only a huge improvement to the deck, but a great learning process for him. He has learnt how to make 'hybrid wheelwells' and use my router for the drop through hole.
It has been ridden more in the last couple of days than it ever has been. A board that is used is better than one that has sat in his room!
That looks incredible. Oh and if doesn't bite on 76mm wheels then it's a trade up from my friends Battle Axe. He didn't care and remained stoked, but I felt bad for giving him thumbs up for a setup that bites when you try medium carves.
I'll show him your work of art and maybe he'll consider making some cutouts.
Very nice and patient work.. good to see youngsters taking their time and not "butchering" in the name of haste!
Looks better than most production decks
