so i have this picture that i want to put on the bottom of a board i just made but im not sur how. i printed out the picture and tried to cut out the black parts with an xacto knife but the whit part tore.a tiger in the works the picture i want to put on the bottom is in this thread

try cutting it out in cardstock or some more heavy duty paper product, also make sure your xacto is sharp. And if you are going to apply it with a spray paint or any other type of paint then you should cut it out on some painters tape insead
You could go to Staples or some other office supply store and buy transparent label sheets and print your design on to a sheet. Cut it out and you'll then have a sticker. After the first or second coat of poly has been sanded and dry stick it to the board and then coat over it. Rice paper works great too. But it's not always that easy to find.
