New Cameo Mini

Here's my new mini. All wood BB. 24" long 9.5" wide. Tred Tex grip top, Cameo image of my girlfriend on the bottom. Sorry for the crappy pics, I don't have access to my camera right now so I had to use an old webcam. I'll take some nice ones later.

thats very nice, i love the width of it. It must be fun to ride around. What trucks are ya using?

It looks like a pearl finish, like mother of pearl, how did you finish it off, and how does it ride???

They're paris 150's just because it's what i had around with 70mm zigs. The ride is really nice. A nice wide platform that feels really stable. It has a slight amount of rocker and medium amount of concave. And although a pearl finish would be nice, it's just polycrylic.

and how did you make the wheel wells? a router?

I sanded the wheel wells with a round drum sander and by hand

The deck shape, art idea, whatever go for. A board you make for yourself will always be uniquely yours no matter what. Also I'd like to think we have a community going here, If one of us learns something we all learn it. So if you like one of my boards by all means take what you want to learn from it.

Creativity is only measure of the obscurity of your resource, and every idea you've ever had was built of from other ideas. So go for it, or better yet improve on what I've done, just share the results back to community is all I ask.
