Shiyuchi is on the right road.
Default De-lam

Just cut out a board, 4 1/8 BB, titebond 3, vac bag, concave and camber with a slightly angled nose.

Anyways, after I cut it out, I tested the flex with some books on the ground, and when I stepped on it, there was slight flex, but I heard some kind of cracking noise, around the nose right before the cutout and I picked it up and there was no sign of any cracking or delam, put it back down stood on it again, same noise in the same spot, check again, still nothing. And then I bounced on it a good amount, no more noises and no strange flex near the nose....

So I assume there was some kind of delam in the middle, but is this board still safe to ride?
