41" 2 plys of baltic birch 1/4" I used tightbond 3 and I fiberglassed it with 6 oz glass

I glassed it with 6oz and im gonna do one more coat of epoxy to smooth it all out

If you cut your upper press pieces to a different radius than the lower pieces, you will not have the problems shown in your picture of the ends not fitting over the wood. it takes a little math or work to do it right !

What would be a common Radius used... I just used some string a thumbtack and a pencil...

has anyone tried like ratchet straps instead of using top braces with clamps?
