so my friend and his brother got a sector 9 for christmas and i was riding with him on his brothers board and i really loved boarding so i went and got me a mundaka sector 9 from the mall its been pretty good since im a beginner but i was just wondering what other peoples thoughts were on it. i was also thinking about putting some abec 11 gumballs and some randall trucks. WOuld that be a good idea or should i just wait until i get another longboard?

Any board is a good first board and s9 is a good company to start out with. Most people don't like the completes they sell though. If you don't like the board how it is and do want to upgrade those wheels and some randall RII 180s will be good.

Welcome to Silverfish. Welcome to your new addiction. I vote just leave it as it is. You will love it no matter what. Try other things at every opportunity. If you like something else better, upgrade. Make sure you ride it first though. Figure out what you like and what you don't like about your board then refurbish your board. Despite everyone ragging on Sector 9 around here, they really don't make bad components. They don't make the best but they're definitely not bad.

Oh and when people say things suck on here, they don't actually suck in almost all cases. They just prefer other things.

the DH plates with 180 hangers are SEX! the differnce is that the 160 hanger has a tighter turn radius. its a matter of preference, but if you want a super sexy truck, get randal 42 plates with paris 180 hangers and venom bushings!

dude, that sucks.. i've had randals over 55mph.. they are great
