Default Boardwalking board?

I wanna start boardwalking/crusing/(maby)dancing

what would be a good board? i was looking at some of the longer boards, because i already have the longer bamboo s9 pintail. maby something closer to 60"?

i have seen lots of pics of LBL dancer and that looks wicked, i was wondering what else is out there (searched and searched but cant find any, that arnt like oversized pintails)

thanx

boardwalking/dancing are basically just two names for the same thing. just so you know

you can't go wrong with an LBL dancer, they're wickedly awesome. personally i prefer building my own though, and it's quite a bit cheaper if you're strapped for cash. if you're looking for something different, then i say just build it yourself. it's far more rewarding!

Gravity Ed Economy, Big Red X ground swell, Sector 9 Luke nosewalker, Dregs 56" supertanker, Eastbilt blank 60" deck, etc etc etc blah blah blah are other options.

However, I will never give up my LBL dancer. Easy to learn and improve boardwalking skills. Nice flex for pumping the flats.

i will probably get flammed for this but w/e.

i have tried the LBL dancer for about 10 min and i found it to be too narrow IMO. but alot pf people love them so i should probably give em a another chance.

i use an eastbilt 60 which i love.

nah, i wouldn't flame ya ton, everyone has their own taste. i like OSD's for sure, they're great boards.....but i prefer the feel of mine, and nothing beats the feeling of riding a board that you've made yourself

The LBL dancer has some concave but it's pretty mellow. If you are making your own, you could make it a touch wider to give it the leverage that the concave otherwise does. A flat version of it works well, since that's what big_loaf uses.

That's possibly the only board on the market truely made for boardwalking tricks specifically. There's lots of other good boards that are big though - Chicago Longboards, Kahuna have almost the same size ones that are good for instance
