then when she got home, she looked at me and asked "do you want to go skate?"...i mean seriously, how awesome is it when your girlfriend skates? so we skated around the block a few times and it was a blast.....
i immediately thought that sentence was going to read "...she looked at me and asked 'do you want to get it on?'"
I live in Seattle and commute to my job at the medcenter a couple times a week. Seattle is a great place for cruising. There are a ton of bike routes and I stick mostly to to them- the cyclists are always friendly and mostly curious about my board. If your ever in Seattle and want a good route follow the bike path around Greenlake to Stoneway, take Stoneway south through Fremont to the Burke Gillman trial. Its mostly a gentle downhill and if you do it early in the morning the traffic isn't too bad. Probably about 6+ miles and a nice view of the city.
skated around university today, had fun kickin around, little bertlemann is great, had a test for a subject went home had a feed with the housemates, went to see Death Cab then did a massive lap of the block when I got home just to quieten down, pumped alot, my pintail is quite stiff so requires alot of work, was good to get out in the nights cool air.
I live in NYC(staten island) and its mostly flat where I live. I went out looking for any hill and found an amazing spot. Its a two block hill that's smooth and virtually no cars since it's part of an enclosed community. At the end of the hill its a turn left to go down a mellow slope or right for flat. So for the past week its been a 1 half mile flatland pump to the spot and a beginners hill session at 8am. Greatest way to start the morning.
today was nice hit some hills i finally got everything tightened up on my board so no more annoying rattle from my back truck. my board felt great today. i planed a long ride earlier in the week but never followed through for some reason ive been kick n my birdhouse for most of the week idk y.

felt like #### all day, ran cones for an hour before I lost the drive for it and just carved the parking lot on my Supercharger instead. Strangely my times through the cones were faster than ever part of it was a tail wind but it was nice

i got my red alligators yesterday and threw them on my superglider this afternoon before work...went for a quick test ride down the (glassy-smooth ) block and they are wonderful!!! if i was any heavier/had softer bushings, they'd bite--they're a bit bigger than my worn-down superballs--but instead they just provide a plush ride like i'd hoped! they look rad, all wide and stuff, and bright red to add some pizazz! also, they pump much better than the superballs...a function of the squarer lip i assume, but i really have no idea. makes me excited to try some zigs or 66mm superballs on it in the future.
tonight when i got home (40 min ago) i went for a nice cool night ride around the neighborhood, and pumped most of the way until my lead foot hurt i can hold a way faster pump with these wheels than i could with the 70mm superballs.
anyways, i'm just stoked. i'd recommend the alligators to anyone. i have the 62mm blues on my mini too and they're just as plush. very very nice wheels
Woke up early - crashed at a friends place. Nobody was up yet so I skated down to the nearby park (Greer). It was waaay too slippery with my Bowl Bombers with all the Graffiti - so I decided to break out my trusty double-sided Sharpie and add to the fun.
