if you like to turn a lot, the stock M1 will have to have side sets. just decide how you want to ride, and then do what makes the most sense to ya. trim, wheels, or scim? now lets go ride
Thanks man...pretty much narrows it down then.

On a side note, my flashbacks are chunking and ive noticed the same thing on another students board.

Yeah my flashies chunked really bad within a couple months. Kinda odd for a Abec 11 wheel...

All wheels chunk. Aside from that, the shape of the Flashbacks makes them more prone. If you want a wheel that chunks less, get something with a more rounded lip, i.e. Powerball, Striker, S9 Race wheel etc...

Wheels like gators and Zigs have square lips and will chunk as well, but honestly it's ok so long as it doesn't go into the contact patch.

Come on...in our scene, trucks live for a long time, boards do too, Bearings when maintained are long lived as well. The wheels are they only thing that has to be replaced from time to time. I love my Big Zigs in lime and Pink, and am looking into the new Seismics...have seen folks run the new Tunnel Turantulas on a couple boards and those are nice too.
But my next wheels will most likely be Siesmics just out of curiosity...I have skated many many miles on my Big Zigs, and when they are replaced, I know I will gotten my money out of them.

Default Re: Fav wheels for your KS?

so i just acquired a 42 inch scimitar, with 35degree base plates and randall 160 DH hangers.

what is the limit in size of the wheels that i could put on these? i have some 77mm speed vents, would it bite? how about 85 mm hawgs? or flywheels?

help on this would be appreciated
