Got my dancer a couple days ago and wow its the biggest thing i have ever ridden. the first thing i was thinking when i got it was man the wheelbase is sooo long how am i going to turn this thing and questioning how easy it would be to cruise but let me tell ya it turns and not to shabby. very easy to carve and wont have too many problems with sharp turns but dont make it your slalom board. stable, i took it 38mph and no wobble or uneasyness about it, i know its not nessicarily its purpose but if theres a hill im my way and im have a nice cruise i dont want to have to foot brake or walk down it i want to be able to take it fast and smooth.
the wells, which are now standard allow about a 78 maybe 80mm wheel with loose as can be trucks and no risers which allows you to have a good wheel selection i personally use 77mm strikers and love them, roll like butter.
weight is also not terrible which i like seeing as this is my leisure board.
kyle will also do graphics for you which is cool i couldnt think of one but if i could have it would have been i nice unique and personal touch. but still a nice pretty green.
now to the dancing, this board is about perfect it has plenty of room for someone my siz (5'10") yet still able to make turns, anymore room i wouldnt know what to do with it probably put in a passengers seat. the progressive grip is another cool feature it does just what its supposed to give more grip on the nose and tail for manuals and has less grip in the center making paroettes (spelling is not good right now) and coffin carve alot easier also probably wont wear my cloths as much carrying it either so it will save me money on new pants. its made of glass which i also found interesting. flex makes the ride nice while still being stiff enough to be nice and stable, about perfect in my eyes.
overall this board would have to get a 5/5 or if you want to get technical like a 4.85/5. honestly i think i would be happier with this board more than anyother dancer out there even the LBL Dancer which i had thought about. kyle is a very cool guy and was awsome about getting me my board and i believe we stayed up until like 1 or 2 o'clock am figure out all the details. thank you again if you read this. so basically this board is awesome definately look into it.
I guess you dont turn much, I run big zigs and was finding I was biting in the front unless I put an 1/8 inch riser on it. I wouldnt wanna run 80mm on it anyways. I love mine though, glad you love yours.
How the weight on the Roggs? My LBL dancer is really heavy.
shipping weight is roughly 3kg
So minus packaging your looking at about 6.2-6.4lbs mind you the deck is 55" long, oh and it is definitely noticeably lighter (riding and carrying) than a lbl

I have Grippins, Holey, 1/8" Riser on my JR and no bite - Turns great.
I have a a OSD and its much heavier (also longer). Roggs is light, but solid.
What's your weight and how 's flex on the OSD compared to your Roggs?
I'm about 180 and in retrospect think my stock built OSD could have used less plys. giving me a bit more flex. IMO the OSD is just too freaking heavy. Though, I'm still glad I bought it.

225#, and I think the flex is perfect on both. I got both boards in trades and use them for carving and cruising/pumping also. The wheel wells on the Roggs are great. I wish I had them on the OSD.

What bushings do you have in your Holeys because I have almost the exact same setup on my Jr. Dancer. The only difference is I need more than 1/8" of riser in order to not bite. I figured weight was the discrepancy here, but I weigh 195-200 lbs. (depending on drink specials) so I'm curious as to why I bite with 1/8" while you do not.
