I'm thinkin about getting a new board and considering this set up for carving and a little bit of some downhill... can someone help me out with some suggestions and what not?
Roe PS Crossfire deck, Bennett Vector 5 (considering Chargers/Randall RII) trucks, and some alligators 70mm/81a wheels.

i find the Logan78 series bearings to be the most effective - they help the canoe travel faster against the current even though the waterfall is full of peanutbutter, thus enabling you to gain more experience while only eating two hamburgers a day at a time per second.
I don't know if you're a beginner, but I'll assume the worst.
Loaded decks are hands down the best carvers, but also the least stable, so I wouldn't take one downhilling. Anything from S9 or Gravity will work. Holey makes some great carver trucks, look into 'em. You can't go wrong with R-IIs though. Wheels: I would go with S9 Race formulas, 70mm 78a. I have some, they grip the road like mad but don't slow you down. As for bearings, Bones has the best, but they're mad expensive. Tracker Abec 5's(faster than I thought) or Biltin 7's should work ok. just don't get Greaseballs, they SUCK.

That's not always true, although the flexyness does help a lot, lets say a vanguard with 28 degree randals and 95a bushings will not carve as good as a stiffer board with holeys
point - trucks and bushings will make much more of a difference then you expect. (it's like a car, you can buy the lotus body kit for your ford tuarus, but it will not make it any faster)
The Crossfire is a nice deck, and could be a good carver, but setting it up with Bennetts will make it very twitchy and unsuitable for speed. You need to reconsider your truck choice more so than the deck.
But no matter what trucks you opt for, the Crossfire has too short a wheelbase for anything resembling "DH"

Dave gave you good input.
You might want to contact MH Mark, or other pro-active dealer and give your weight, and other info.
Sector 9 Bomb Hills works well for starters.
