Default Replacing Dervish Griptape.

Ok so I bought my Loaded Dervish not too long ago, and I love it.... anyways though I am already becoming somewhat disappointed with my stock clear griptape, an I have a few questions what to do from here.
#1. When I did my searching I saw that the best way to remove clear griptape is to use a power sander and sand off the grip. True or False?
#2. What type of sand paper do you recommend for removing this griptape without ruining to many pieces of sand paper?
#3. When I do put on the griptape I read that putting the grip across the entire length of the board is no good because the flex will cause it to wrinkle, though in Loaded videos I have seen griptape across the length of the board and didn't seem to be a problem. If possible that is what I would prefer to do as opposed to the squares of griptape at the two ends on the Dervish.

Help is much appreciated, though I searched I found some answers but they were too inconsistent so I figured that my own thread may be more helpful to me. So if you don't intend to help don't post just to bash me because there are already "x" amount of other threads like this.

use 60 grit, then 100, then 200, then 400. should be smooth as a babies bottom. anddo you really need grip tape to go end to end on a dervish?

just use a piece of grip to sand off the clear grip, you don't have to take it all off, just smooth enough that the tape will hold. Also Louis is the one with a completely gripped dervish, It doesn't really wrinkle the tape as much as it deadens up the flex (feels much better IMO)

i have a pintail that i have regripped multiple times. Trust me when i say this, there's a reason why louis covered his completely in tape. IT'S AWESOME. For all the nay sayers, it doesnt dampen the flex noticeably, and doesnt wrinkle nearly at all (my pin is flex 4). Really, just sand it off with some old grip, wipe it down with a damp cloth, and slap some sk8 kings grip on there. You'll love it.

Hmmm. I'll have to think about gripping the entire thing now. The flex feels a little much when i old school kickflip etc. How much does it dampen the flex?

would it dampen the flex if you used a checkerboard type pattern? Like, if less than half of the board surface was covered?

before getting caught in the whole ruining flex, to much grip tape bullshit. my dumbass got some paint epoxy remover and took more than the graphics off the dervish.a nice thick coat of sealer. Start tripping what aboat my flex blah blah blah. guess what, nothing happened. then i realize that do what ever you want to you board except maybe delamination and youll be fine. make your dervish how ever you want and just go ride. if you like alot of grip tape then go ahead, thats your style and will help you shread better.

Just ride.
