Default i'm thinking about getting newtered!

i've been searching and can't find much info on the longboardlarry NEWT. anyone have one? i'm looking for a longer wheelbase, 42-46'' IH.to IH. cruiser carver with some flex and big wheel cutouts. drop through or drop down preffered. most decks with cutouts seem to be DH or speed boards, and are stiff as a board! the NEWT looks good, but will it clear 75-76mm b-zigs, gumballs, avilas? how is the flex, and ride? is there enough footspace at the back where it narrows? any word on the NEWT would be primo, as well as other selections that meet my criteria. i weigh in at 165 having just eaten a big burrito, if that helps tune in the flex. thanx

I haven't ridden any LBL boards, but if your looking for a long wheel base, wheel cutouts, drop through, and some flex a kracked skulls would fit the bill. You could get a 46" scimitar and that would fit any of the wheels you listed, and they're quite a bit cheaper than LBL. I ride a 46" and weigh about 180 so I really notice the flex. At 165 it's not going to be super flexy, much more than a speedboard though.

The Newt does look really cool. It has a tail which is one thing I kind of miss on my kracked skulls.

Calling Larry may be your best option. He can add/subtract plys to get the flex you want.
There are not many pins with wheel cutouts on the market let alone drop thru.
The only other I can think of right now is the Landy Battle Axe.

thanx people! i actually allready have a KS. 44'' scimitar and a 46" m1. i also have a LBL drop pin. i ride with my kids, and want to add to the quiver. i dont want to vibrate and rattle down these rough roads around here. the KSERS do work well. I LIKE the flex they have, i think loaded might be too much flex, and the dervish is a little short of the length i like. but yeah, i'm looking for variety and a little more fit and finish quality than KS. does anyone know if slight customization like adding length, or altering flex costs big bucks? just wondered before i call larry. any other great ideas, been good so far!
